The Movie Machine Society© was founded in 1988 by collectors and historians of cinema machinery.
The Society is devoted to collecting, displaying and preservation of movie machinery, and the sharing of information with all persons and entities interested in the technological history of the devises designed to create moving images.
The Society has many enthusiastic members world wide, who gather each year in a variety of locations for an annual sharing convention experience.
The Society publishes a quarterly journal, sixteen frames and paid members receive a subscription as part of the dues. 1999 Dues are $25.00 For members in the us and $30.00 For overseas members due to extra postage.
Additionally, this site will also function to respond to technical questions regarding historical motion picture equipment.
